1 min read

An overnight warming shelter will be opened in Vallejo City from Monday night to Thursday night.

According to the City of Vallejo spokesperson Christina Lee, the city partnered with the Greater Vallejo Recreation District, a nonprofit organization, to provide shelter during the cold weather that’ll hit Bay Area this week.

The warming shelter is located at Normal C. King South Vallejo Community Center at 545 Magazine St. It will be open from 8:30 p.m. to 7 a.m. December 12 to December 15.

Those who’ll be using the warming space are encouraged to bring blankets as there’ll be a limited number of blankets and pillows

Overnight temperatures in Vallejo this week are forecast to be in the 30s.
