A homicide investigation was launched when police found one dead body in a Pleasant Hill strip mall parking lot.
On Monday, before 1:15 a.m., police were dispatched to reports of a shooting in the parking lot of Farrington’s Bar just a block away from City Hall.
According to Pleasant Hill police, they found a dead body at the scene.
The victim was identified as Oscar Laredo Arellano, 37, of Concord.
Police believed the suspect fled the scene in a vehicle.
