Petaluma police arrested a woman linked to a hit-and-run on Friday. The suspect reportedly crashed her vehicle into a fence and fled the scene.

According to the Petaluma Police Department, 66-year-old Pamela Long was arrested under the suspicion of hit-and-run, drinking under the influence, and resisting arrest.

Around 8:12 p.m. on Friday, officers responded to the 300 block of Stony Point Road after a report of a vehicle that crashed into a house.

Officers found a vehicle stuck on a fence and another damaged fence nearby. Police said the driver of the crashed vehicle identified as Long tried to flee the scene on foot.

A witness says Long fled into her residence and a police investigation determined Long was under the influence and was arrested.
