Woman stabbed in southeast San Jose

A woman is in the hospital after being stabbed in southwest San Jose on Tuesday. 

According to the San Jose Police Department, at 11:30 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 5400 block of Drysdale Drive near the Village Green Apartments after a report. 

Police found a woman with life-threatening injuries. Later, police said she had been stabilized at the hospital. 

Police are still gathering information about the suspect and motive. As of 12:45 p.m., the suspect in the stabbing had been found.
