2 injured on Christmas Day in Mountain View shooting

A 6-year-old boy was hospitalized with a gunshot wound on Christmas. 

According to the Mountain View Police Department, officers responded to the 900 block of Clark Avenue at around 8:30 p.m. for the shooting. 

At the scene, a child and a man were found with gunshot wounds. 

The victims sustained shots at their lower body and police believe they will make a full recovery. 

Investigation revealed that shots were fired into the home before the suspect ran away. 

As of Wednesday, no suspects have been identified and the motive remains unclear.
