4 dead in violent Oakland weekend shootings and sideshows

4 people are dead after a fatal weekend in Oakland which included shootings and sideshows. 

According to police, the first several shooting happened in the 1400 block of Webster Street at 12:15 a.m. on Saturday. Officers found a man suffering from gunshot wounds and performed aid until medical personnel arrived. 

As described by the police, he was in grave condition and had life-threatening injuries. 

Hours later at 3:15 a.m., officers responded to another shooting in the 1700 block of Broadway. One victim, a man, was pronounced dead at the hospital, while two others are hospitalized in stable condition. 

All three were hit by gunfire. 

On Sunday, another shooting took place and claimed the life of an Oakland man at 4:30 p.m. in the 1300 block of 42nd Avenue. The victim was taken to the hospital where he died. 

And minutes later, at 4:42 p.m., a shooting again occurred in the 1400 block of 5th Avenue. 

According to police, they saw the shooting happened and arrested the suspect, who is identified as a Concord resident. Fortunately, there are no reported injuries in this incident. 

Later Sunday night, police responded to a shooting in the 1200 block of 84th Avenue in East Oakland. Officers, firefighters, and paramedics responded to the scene. The victim was taken to the hospital where he died. 

Police will not share the victims’ identities until their families can be reached.
