At least four spectators were injured during a sideshow for a San Francisco Mission District gathering honoring the life of Telena music icon Selena on Saturday.

Sideshow Accident

San Francisco police officers responded to reports and arrived to discover a vehicular crash at about 9:30 p.m. between 23rd and 26th streets on Mission Street. Video footage uploaded on social media showed cars driving around with crowds watching.

“Officers arrived on scene and found traffic congested due to the inability for traffic to move caused by exhibitions of stunt driving in the area,” said San Francisco police. One vehicle from the sideshow event hit four residents and drove off on Sunday, police said.

Authorities revealed the four victims were all adult males. They were transferred to a local hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Police later controlled the crowd and traffic. No information on arrests or citations has been disclosed.

There were hundreds of watchers during the event that celebrated the life of Tejano music icon Selena Quintanilla-Perez, CBS Local reported.
