4 severely injured in crash in San Francisco’s Inner Sunset

A crash in San Francisco’s Inner Sunset neighborhood left 4 pedestrians severely injured, according to the neighborhood’s supervisor. 

The crash occurred near the intersection of 9th Avenue and Lincoln Boulevard in San Francisco Monday evening, at around 5:50 p.m. 

The San Francisco Department of Emergency Management issued an alert after 6 p.m. advising people to keep out of the area and expect traffic. 

The SFMTA tweeted that the 7 Haight bus is being rerouted around the area due to a Muni-involved collision at the intersection. 

Authorities reported that they found several injured parties. Aid and paramedics immediately arrived to transport injured pedestrians to local hospitals with unknown injuries. 

Officers on the scene are actively investigating the incident. 

4 people are in critical condition after the collision, and 1 car rammed a second vehicle, hitting multiple people waiting at the bus stop, San Francisco Supervisor Myrna Melgar tweeted.
