Authorities in California have arrested two people on Sunday in connection to the shooting incident that killed a 6-year-old child last month.

Road Rage Suspects

California Highway Patrol arrested Marcus Anthony Eriz, 24, and Wynne Lee, 23, at their home in Costa Mesa, California, they shot and killed 6-year-old Aiden Leos during a road rage incident in May.

Reports say Joanna Cloonan, Aiden’s mother, was driving him to school when a white sedan cut her off abruptly on the 55 Freeway. Someone in the white vehicle fired on Cloonan’s car, striking Aiden who was in the back seat. It is unclear whether it was Eriz or Lee that opened fire.

“He was beautiful and he was kind and he was precious, and you killed him for no reason. And I want to find them and I want there to be justice to be served for my son,” Cloonan said during an appearance on “Good Morning America” last month.

Both suspects will be charged with murder. They are currently being held on a $1 million bail at the Orange County Jail.
