Cupertino home trespassing leads to homicide case

A Cupertino residence was intruded on Christmas morning, which led to a homicide case that is currently under investigation by the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office, KRON4 reported.

At around 4:08 in the morning on Christmas, Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a trespassing call in the 20000 block of Patric Court.

They found a gunshot-wounded adult man when they arrived at the scene.

According to authorities, the Santa Clara County Fire Department was also deployed to the scene to give medical treatment to the wounded man. He, however, was declared dead at the location.

The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner, Coroner’s Office is yet to release the victim’s identity as it will yet to notify his next of kin.

His death is now being investigated by homicide detectives and crime scene investigators.
