Just when we thought we’ve seen the last of Marvel, Disney+ unveils premieres dates for new films to look forward to!
Despite being an all-time nemesis, Loki, the cunning trickster god. is coming soon to the big screen. Originally announced to premiere on May 2021, there’s been a change of schedule and we’ll have the show ready on June 11.
Tom Hiddlestone reprises his role as Loki and the show follows on his adventure through time and space after the Asgardian chaotic god grabbed the Tesseract and disappeared in Avengers: Endgame. The cast also includes Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku, and Richard E. Grant, with Kate Herron as director and Michael Waldron as head writer.
Another show to look forward to is Star Wars: The Bad Batch, scheduled to premiere on May 4. Star Wars: The Bad Batch is an animated series set after The Clone Wars. The series is the first of many Star Wars spin-offs that Disney+ has planned, including the live-action of Ahsoka, Kenobi, and Rangers of the New Republic.
Aside from these two, Disney+ also have set dates for new series: John Stamos’ basketball show Big Shot (April 16), Tony Hale’s mystery series The Mysterious Benedict Society (June 25), the Pixar spin-off Monsters at Work (July 2), Josh Peck’s Turner & Hooch reboot (July 16), and Chip ‘N’ Dale: Park Life (July 23).
