Four suspected burglars were arrested after they crashed into a fence while fleeing from the police.

According to the Vallejo Police Department, officers received a call about a burglary at a closed business on the 2100 block of Spring Road. Police arrived on the scene and found people getting into a black Infiniti FX35 which was parked in front of the business entrance.

After spotting the police, the Infiniti fled from the parking lot.

A police chase occurred until the Infiniti driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a fence.

Police said three men fled on foot towards Interstate 80. Two of the men ran across the highway and were arrested by officers on the other side. The third man tripped while running and was apprehended. The fourth suspect stayed in the car and surrendered.

The business manager reported that the burglary caused over $4,000 in damages and the stolen merchandise was worth more than $12,000.
