1 min read

A Sacramento woman who was reported missing more than a week ago has been reported as coming back to her home and is safe, Sacramento police officials announced on Wednesday.

Missing Woman Returns Home

The woman, 61-year-old Valerie Collins, walked away from her home near Arden Fair Mall on March 9. Police investigators sought help from the public on Tuesday for information about her whereabouts.

The Sacramento Police Department notified the public that the senior left her home without bringing her cellphone or wallet. Officials added Collins had difficulty walking and might have been using a walker.

“All leads have been exhausted,” police said Tuesday. Authorities shared information about Collins’s case on social media in an attempt to get as much help from the public as they could, the Sacramento Bee reported.

On Wednesday, police did not provide any additional information about the victim’s location for the last week or how she made it back home.
