Sunday morning stabbing ruled as homicide: police

The San Jose Police Department is investigating a stabbing on Sunday that killed one person. 

At 3:45 a.m., units were dispatched to the 1300 block of Shawn Drive and found a male suffering from at least one stab wound. 

The victim was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.      

Later on, police announced that the victim had died of his injuries and the case is ruled as homicide.              

One woman was taken into custody by police at the scene.
