San Francisco police on Tuesday said a man was arrested by authorities for alleged robbery, conspiracy and hate crime enhancements.

O’Sean Garcia, 20, was victimizing Asian women who were targets of seven suspected robberies since March, investigators said.

The recent crime happened on Maynard Street in San Francisco last Sept. 21. An Asian woman, 27, was targeted by Garcia and two more unidentified male suspects, robbed her backpack and then escaped using a red car.

According to the police, Garcia is facing seven counts of robbery, seven hate crime enhancements, and another seven counts of conspiracy charges.

The suspect has done the criminalities in San Francisco and finally fell into the custody of the authorities in Oakland where his vehicle was seen last Sept. 21.

He even tried to evade authorities in Oakland when he was spotted, but he failed, arrested, and was brought to San Francisco County Jail, KRON4 reported.

According to the police, the investigators have already secured a search warrant to have his home and car searched, where they located multiple proofs relating him to San Francisco robberies, including an unregistered gun.
